Paulo borrachinha He may have stirred up a real hornet's nest by challenging Josh Hokit. The Brazilian entered the fray at UFC 327, where knocked out Azamat Murzakanov In his debut in the light heavyweight division (up to 93 kg), the fighter from Minas Gerais, buoyed by the result, hinted at a possible duel against the outspoken American, who also stood out at the event and, since then, has been firing off a series of provocations against the former middleweight (up to 83,9 kg).
In social media posts, Hokit reacted to the challenge with a provocative tone, mocking Borrachinha's physique and praising his own condition, as well as insinuating physical superiority and making direct comparisons between the two.

“Fight against ‘my balls’… but yeah, sure, I have like 20% body fat, but make no mistake, my amazing ‘Hok juice’ is far superior to your ‘secret juice’,” wrote Josh Hokit.
Subsequently, the American escalated the provocations even further, stating that he would physically dominate the Brazilian in the fight and resorting to personal attacks, including comments about his life outside the octagon.
"I would knock you down and suffocate you with that belly... and take all your women from you... they prefer a dad bod anyway...", the loudmouth pointed out.
Finally, Hokit ended the series of messages with a direct threat, promising a dominant and aggressive performance should a confrontation between them occur.
"I'm going to eat your heart," Hokit declared.

Before stepping into the octagon at UFC 327, Josh Hokit wasn't even ranked in the heavyweight division and had only two fights in the organization. After his victory over Curtis blaydes, who occupied the fourth position, the loudmouth should make a significant leap in the division, with a clear path to the top 5.
The event was also positive from a financial standpoint. Hokit earned around $200 (approximately R$1 million), combining the Performance of the Night and Fight of the Night bonuses, solidifying not only his sporting growth but also his return to the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).
Beyond the sporting success and financial gain, the heavyweight left UFC 327 with a great opportunity for exposure. Immediately after his victory, he was announced as his next opponent. Derrick Lewis unanticipated UFC White House, an event scheduled for June 14th and billed as one of the biggest shows in the organization's history.
