In the video, it's possible to see the conversations between El Matador and his team members shortly before he began walking towards the octagon. With a look that conveyed complete confidence, the Georgian/Spanish fighter uttered a phrase that would become prophetic a few minutes later.
“This is my time. God is with us. He brought us this far. This time, it will be quick. He prepared me for this,” said the fighter, who knocked out Leão Embaçado in just two minutes and 27 seconds.
