A bizarre confusion when announcing the result of the match between Chris Padilla e Marquel Mederos The fight left fans confused and enraged around the world. On social media, many viewers who watched the lightweight bout (up to 70,3 kg) during the preliminary card of UFC 327 were upset. Originally announced as the winner by majority decision, Padilla learned in the locker room that the fight was actually scored as a majority draw.

Many fans around the world were surprised by the bizarre mistake made by the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) team in posts on X (formerly Twitter), especially since it's a recurring situation. Two weeks ago, Tyrell Fortune left the octagon frustrated after losing to Marcyn Tybura by unanimous decision, only to return seconds later so the announcement could be corrected.

What?? After all this struggle, they announced that Chris Padilla "He actually did NOT win the fight, and instead it's a Majority Draw. Did they read the scores wrong two weeks in a row???", questioned a fan incredulously.
