After going through a turbulent period in his career, Renato Moicano turned things around at UFC Vegas 115. In the main event held last Saturday (4), the Brazilian made short work of Chris Duncan and finished him easily in the second round. Relieved to end the bad phase, the veteran admitted that he made a mistake in past fights, indicating that he learned a valuable lesson.

Moicano acknowledged that his success on YouTube has distracted him and harmed him. It's worth noting that the Brazilian even refused fights, justifying that his priority is content creation (videos and six-hour live streams) and that this routine consumes the time needed for preparation. By making this decision, many began to see the veteran more as a YouTuber than as a fighter.

“I’m still a fighter. I’m producing content, but I need to find a balance. So, if I have a fight, I have to focus. Otherwise, if you spend energy on other things, it will show in the octagon,” the fighter said at the post-UFC Vegas 115 press conference.

Renato Moicano , 36, is a veteran of MMA and a long-time member of the UFC's top 15 lightweight division (up to 70,3 kg). The Brazilian began his career in the sport in 2010 and debuted in its biggest organization in 2014. Currently, the athlete is ranked ninth in the highly competitive category.

In this discipline, the professional built a record of 21 wins, seven losses, and one draw. His main victories were over Benoit Saint Denis , Calvin Kattar , Chris Duncan , Cub Swanson , Drew Dober , Jalin Turner , and Jeremy Stephens.
