Johnny Walker expresses confidence as he projects his future in the UFC's light heavyweight division (up to 93kg). Even without being directly involved in the title fight, the Brazilian believes the belt already belongs to him. The division will have a new champion defined in the main event of UFC 327, on April 11th, when Jiri Prochazka and Carlos Ulberg face off for the vacant title left by Alex Poatan . At the same event, Walker will face Dominick Reyes in a fight that could bring him closer to the top of the division.
In an interview with 'MMA FullMount', Johnny Walker stated that he sees the title fight as directly linked to his future. In the Brazilian's view, whoever wins the main event will, in practice, be holding a title that he considers his own, and he reinforced his interest in facing Jiri Prochazka next, highlighting the potential for it to be a very exciting fight.

Alex Poatan leaves the light heavyweight title vacant.
After defeating Magomed Ankalaev and regaining the light heavyweight title, Alex Poatan opted to move up a weight class in search of new challenges in the UFC. The Brazilian relinquished his title in the 93 kg division and will now have the opportunity to make history by competing for his third belt. To do so, he faces Ciryl Gane in the co-main event of UFC Casa Branca , scheduled for June 14th.
