Charles do Bronx has already activated 'Saiyan mode' for UFC 326, scheduled for next Saturday (7). The Brazilian faces Max Holloway in the main event, in a duel valid for the 'BMF' belt, and maintained a ritual that has become a trademark in his great performances: he platinum-blonded his hair again. The look, however, is starting to take its toll, as the fighter himself admits that the sequence of bleaching has caused hair loss.
In an episode of UFC 326's 'Embedded', the former lightweight champion (up to 70,3kg) revealed that the idea of dyeing his hair started as a simple joke, but ended up becoming a tradition, and also a demand from fans. According to the 'Blurred Lion', messages on social media asking if there would be another platinum blonde look have become constant, practically 'obliging' him to repeat the ritual before the most important fights. Despite joking that the process is making him bald, Charles assured that there's no escaping it anymore and that he's ready to repeat the experience once again.

Also in the video, the São Paulo native explained the difference between 'normal mode' and the so-called 'Saiyan mode'. According to Charles do Bronx , the special version represents more speed and aggression inside the octagon. He stated that, after dyeing his hair, he feels that the switch has been flipped and there's no going back: it's about entering fully activated to seek victory.
“When I’m in Charles Oliveira mode, it’s normal. Saiyan mode is all about speed and aggression… I’m already in that mode. I’m activated, aggression. It’s crazy… After I got my hair done, that was it. There’s nowhere left to run.”, concluded the ‘Blurred Lion’.

Although Brazilian fans are confident, Charles do Bronx is considered the underdog by bettors for the UFC 326 fight. Max Holloway, on the other hand , is the favorite, with odds of 1,50, equivalent to a return of R$15 for every R$10 invested in his victory.
