King Green He showed he still has what it takes in the Ultimate Fighting Championship. The American entered the main card of... UFC Mexico, held this Saturday (28), and, with guard down and provocations in the best style of Anderson Silva, dominated the distance and won Daniel Zellhuber by knockout in the second round.
With the victory, Green reached 34 career wins. At 39 years old, the American now has 15 wins and 12 losses in the UFC. Zellhuber, on the other hand, has suffered three consecutive defeats in the organization.
King Green lowers his guard, taunts, and knocks out his opponent at UFC Mexico.
Zellhuber started the fight looking for a ground game, while Green easily avoided his attempts. The American moved around the octagon with his guard down, while the Mexican, who sought to fight standing up, couldn't connect with his strikes and even received counter-attacks from King.
Better in combat, King Green provoked à la Anderson Silva, turning his face away and brushing the dust from his shoulders as he dodged.
In the second round, the fight resumed with the same dynamic, with the Mexican looking for the attack, while Green avoided the blows with low guard dodges. The American surprised by executing a takedown and, after exchanging positions on the ground, returned to fighting on his feet.
In the final stretch of the fight, Green landed hard punches that stunned the Mexican before finishing the fight with a ground and pound.
