Million-dollar signing! Dana White flaunts his power and 'steals' a star from a rival organization.

Dana White promised to shake up boxing and, in fact, he kept his word. Still early in his career as leader of 'Zuffa Boxing', the executive can boast of having made an impressive signing, which surprised fans, sports professionals and Eddie Hearn, rival promoter. Last Friday (20), the organization announced the arrival of Conor Benn, one of the best and most popular boxers of today and a standout in 'Matchroom Boxing'.

I agree with the journalist Dan Rafael, a boxing specialist, and the 'According to 'Sports Illustrated', Benn's agreement with Zuffa Boxing is for one fight and is worth between 10 and 15 million dollars (approximately between R$ 52 and 77 million at the current exchange rate). It is not yet known when and against whom the Englishman will debut in his new home, but the expectation is that the commitment will be extremely important, possibly for a title.

I fear no one in any weight class and I’m ready to deliver the fights the fans have been asking for. I’m at the peak of my career and, together, we have bold and ambitious plans,” the athlete said in an official statement released by Zuffa Boxing.

Conor Benn, 29, is a boxing star. The Englishman began his career in the sport in 2016, winning 24 fights and losing only once, avenging his only defeat. His main triumph was precisely against Chris Eubank Jr.
