Hugo Lezama tried to surprise Gable Stevenson, but became just another statistic in the main event of 'Mexico Fight League 3. At the event held last Thursday (19), in Monterrey (MEX), the American confirmed his favoritism and knocked out in the first round, making the joy of Jon Jones, his friend and mentor in MMA. With the new show, the Olympic wrestling champion remains undefeated in the sport and has moved even closer to the UFC.

Despite his inexperience in MMA, the promising fighter didn't panic, nor was he in a hurry to finish the fight. Calmly, the American waited for the right moment to attack Lezama and, when he did, he hurt him.
