Diego Lopes is home. The Brazilian, who represents Mexico in the UFC, is recovering from his loss to Alexander Volkanovski in a featherweight title fight (up to 65,7 kg) at UFC 325 on January 31st in Sydney, Australia. Enjoying a period of rest, the 31-year-old athlete shared some family moments in Manaus, Amazonas, Brazil.
In a post on his Instagram feed, the 'fringe' athlete shared a carousel of photos set to the song 'Estamos Bien' by Bad Bunny. Among the pictures are: the athlete with friends on the street, at home watching television, typical regional dishes, smiles, and a moment of leisure flying a kite. Within this, the featherweight also shared a heartfelt message about his time in Manaus.
"The simplest things are things I wouldn't trade for anything," Diego Lopes wrote on his profile.
