Despite taking place in a smaller organization, a bizarre scene shocked the world of combat sports. Last Saturday (7), in the Czech Republic, Pavol Vasko simply bit Vaclav Mikulasek's ear during the main fight of the 'Clash MMA' event. After being inspired by the controversial move by Mike Tyson against Evander Holyfield in 1997, which went down in history, the bad boy suffered a major backlash from fans and had to flee the event.
It all started when Mikulasek attempted a takedown. In defending himself, Vasko thought it appropriate to attack his opponent illegally. Unsurprisingly, the athlete, with a bleeding ear, screamed in pain and immediately complained. And the incident didn't only anger the victim.

As Pavol left the cage, the enraged fans threw drinks and chairs at him. And it didn't stop there. Despite the security team's attempts to protect the fighter, some fans managed to attack him with a series of punches and kicks. At this time, it is still unknown what will be done with Vasko. On the other hand, Mikulasek remains outraged by the situation and is dealing with the serious injury.

The UFC also had a fighter attacking his opponent in an unusual and prohibited way. In 2024, Igor Severino, out of nowhere, bit André Mascote 's arm , who immediately complained. As a consequence of the act, the athlete was disqualified, losing his undefeated record in MMA, was cut by the organization, and punished by the Nevada Athletic Commission.
