Despite being defeated by Jean Silva during the main card of UFC 324, Arnold Allen didn't fail to have a good laugh on the night of the previous Saturday (24). The featherweight (up to 65,7 kg) revealed that shortly before facing the Brazilian, he ended up being transported by a rather eccentric driver. He spoke about the matter in a video published on his YouTube channel last Wednesday (28).

According to the fighter, the taxi driver who took him and his corner members to the T-Mobile Arena appeared to be under the influence of hallucinogenic substances, to the point of putting the safety of the occupants at risk.

“I think our driver was really high. It was hilarious. He took the scenic route, I’m pretty sure he got lost. He was on his phone the whole time, braking hard, and Fraser was in the front seat looking terrified. Then we arrive and they already have the sniffer dogs around the car, and he says, ‘Wouldn’t it be funny if they found a bag of drugs in the car?’ We were sitting there thinking, ‘Obviously you have drugs in the car, man.’ It was on the way to the venue. I was sitting there thinking, ‘What the hell is this?’” the Briton stated.

Hours after his turbulent arrival at the venue, the Englishman engaged in an intense confrontation with Lord Silva. In the final seconds of the fight, Silva took advantage of a positional advantage to climb onto his opponent's back in a moment that was recorded as an attempt to 'surf' on his opponent.
