Pimblett had provoked Tsarukyan before facing Gaethje
The loss to Gaethje was Pimblett's first in the UFC, and it ended an almost eight-year undefeated streak in the Briton's career. Before the fight, Paddy publicly taunted the Armenian by addressing the UFC's decision to prioritize him in the interim title fight, while Tsarukyan was left out despite being ranked first in the lightweight division (up to 70,3 kg).
