“It’s one thing to say, ‘I believe in my resilience, my chin, and I’m going to trade punches with this guy,’ but when that starts to not work, at some point you have to think, ‘It’s the third round. There are two left. Maybe I’ll try to take him down and submit him.’ Without a doubt. He was the favorite, and I think that hurt him. In the other fights, he was the underdog; everyone thought he would lose. Today, he was the favorite,” he concluded.
