One of Brazil's leading MMA fighters today, Jean Silva returned to winning ways in the octagon. At UFC 324, an event held last Saturday (24) in Las Vegas (USA), the athlete impressed by defeating Arnold Allen by unanimous decision. In this way, 'Lord' moved closer to the top of the featherweight division (up to 65,8 kg) and projected a great future not only in his career, but also for the 'Fighting Nerds' academy.
Excited by the important victory, Jean guaranteed it was only a matter of time before he became champion of the category. And he didn't stop there. The bad boy also showed full confidence in the success of his teammates in the UFC. So much so that the athlete bets that Caio Borralho and Maurício Ruffy will recover from their first defeat in the octagon and, alongside him and Carlos Prates , will reach the top of the middleweight (up to 83,9 kg), lightweight (up to 70,3 kg) and welterweight (up to 77,1 kg) divisions, respectively, in the future.
“Thank you very much for that question, and I have to tell you. Without a doubt, I wasn't the first. The Fighting Nerds all fought together. Tomorrow, they'll all fight together again, and then again, until they all become champions,” said the bad boy at the post-UFC 324 press conference.

Currently, the highest-ranked member of the São Paulo team in the UFC is Carlos Prates . He is sixth in the welterweight rankings. Next is Caio Borralho , who is seventh in the middleweight division. Jean Silva , in turn, holds the tenth spot in the featherweight rankings, while Maurício Ruffy is 14th in the lightweight division.
