What was previously just speculation ended up being confirmed by Dana White. Hours before UFC 324 was held last Saturday (24), in Las Vegas (USA), the fight between Alexander Hernandez and Michael Johnson was removed from the card due to suspicion of a betting scheme. When questioned about the matter, the company president did not shy away and clarified the situation.

Dana White reported that, once again, a UFC fight was the target of an attempted match-fixing incident. It's worth noting that the organization has been dealing with controversial situations related to betting, the most recent of which occurred in November.

Regarding the controversial case involving Isaac Dulgarian , during which the fight actually took place, the UFC president revealed that when he was notified of the new problem, he opted to cancel the fight between the veterans. Furthermore, regarding what will happen from now on, Dana White warned that the FBI has already begun investigations to punish those involved in an exemplary manner.

“Yes. That’s exactly what happened. It happened again. We received a call from the Gaming Integrity Service and I said, ‘I’m not doing this shit again.’ So, we canceled the fight,” the official said at the post-UFC 324 press conference.

"Yes, the FBI is already deeply involved in all of this. So, I'm sure this will be the next case," he concluded.

Scheduled to face Yadier Del Valle in the UFC, Isaac Dulgarian was considered the favorite by bookmakers to win the fight, but ended up being submitted in the first round in a questionable manner.
