Jon Jones is open to the possibility of facing Alex Poatan in the UFC, but believes the fight wouldn't be a good idea from the Brazilian's perspective. Recently, the former light heavyweight champion made it clear he wants to face 'Bones' in the heavyweight division (up to 120,2 kg). Despite signaling positively towards the fight, the American decided to issue a public warning to his rival.

In a video posted on social media, Jones stated that he has already surpassed several Brazilian legends throughout his career and indicated that Poatan could become just another name on his list, in addition to advising the challenger to be cautious about the challenge he is seeking.

“I’ve already defeated many legends from your country. You would be a great addition to my roster. Be careful what you wish for,” said Jon Jones.
