Kevin Vallejos is still seeking his rematch against Jean Silva in the UFC. Defeated by the Brazilian in the Contender Series, the Argentinian prospect bounced back, earned his place in the organization, and now has the chance to solidify his ranking in the featherweight division (up to 65,7 kg). The challenge will be against Josh Emmett at UFC Vegas 114, scheduled for March 14th.

Kevin Vallejos began his journey on the UFC's radar during the 2023 Contender Series season. Despite losing by unanimous decision to Jean Silva on that occasion, the Argentinian didn't let it get him down and sought to rebuild his career outside the organization.
In two appearances away from the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), Vallejos returned to winning ways and regained the prominence needed to earn another chance in Dana White's program. In his second opportunity on the Contender Series, Kevin was dominant and finished the fight in the first round, securing a resounding knockout and, this time, the coveted UFC contract.
In the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), the featherweight fighter maintained his momentum, accumulating three wins in three appearances, two of them by knockout , solidifying his position as one of the rising stars in the 65,7 kg division.
Kevin Vallejos is currently ranked 13th in the featherweight division and has the chance to move up another spot against Josh Emmett, who is coming off two consecutive losses and is ranked 11th in the category.
