Scheduled for November 7th at the Ginásio do Ibirapuera, the UFC Sao Paulo suffered a last-minute change to its schedule. Scheduled to face Tom Lawlor, who ended up injured, Brazilian Fábio Maldonado will now have a new opponent: Corey anderson.

Expert wrestling, Corey anderson was one of the champions of the 19th season of the reality show The Ultimate Fighter. In his last fight, “Beastin 25/8” defeated the Polish Jan Blachowicz by decision of the judges at UFC 191, in September. Information about the change in the São Paulo card was published on the website of the “Combate” channel.
Fábio Maldonado hasn’t fought since April this year, when he was defeated by Quinton “Rampage”Jackson. The “Caipira de Aço” has a professional record of 22 wins and eight losses as a professional in MMA.
UFC Fight Night 77 takes place on November 7th, in São Paulo (SP). In the main fight of the night, the Brazilian Vitor belfort will do the trilogy against the veteran Dan Henderson, in a duel valid for the middleweight category.
