Former K1 champion and kickboxing star Badr Hari posted a very relaxed photo with one of the biggest stars in world sport today. The Moroccan fighter carried Cristiano Ronaldo on his lap during the Portuguese Real Madrid player's visit to his home country and used a caption joking about the pose: “Just married! I’m always here to hold you, brother,” Hari wrote on his official Facebook page.
Hari is close friends with Cristiano Ronaldo and other Real players such as Karim Benzema. According to the Spanish daily “El Mundo”, during the Portuguese's stay in Morocco, the fighter adopted a very protective stance, even trying to prevent the star from suffering excessive harassment from fans.
At 30 years old, Hari was one of the big stars in the final phase of the K1 striking event, reaching the GP final in 2008 and 2009 and becoming champion of the linear heavyweight belt. Despite his talent, Hari was involved in several messes in his career, whether inside or outside the ring. In fights, he has shown disloyalty, like when he stepped on Remy Bonjasky to the ground in the K1 decision in 2008, losing by disqualification.
In his private life, Hari was arrested several times, accused of assault and even attempted murder. His last fight was in August, when he beat Ismael Lindt by technical knockout.
