Dana White won't have an easy time in boxing. Eddie Hearn, a renowned promoter in the noble art, sent a message to the UFC president in an interview. Hearn demonstrated a hunger for competition, aiming to prove he's the best at what he does.
A renowned figure in the UFC, Dana White is launching Zuffa Boxing, a professional boxing promotion company created in conjunction with TKO Group Holdings. aiming to reshape the noble artTherefore, Dana's initiative gave Eddie Hearn more fuel in terms of the competition.
“You’ll never hear me speak disrespectfully about Dana (White) or be personal about him. It’s fair game. They (TKO, Dana White’s partner at Zuffa Boxing) are an incredible company. You have Mark Shapiro, Ari (Emmanuel), Dana, Nick Khan, those guys are geniuses.”
This excites me. This is what I want. I need to prove that I'm the best. I believe I'm the best. I believe I'm the greatest boxing promoter of all time. And maybe it's wishful thinking, but my track record suggests I might be right.
"I need heavy artillery against me. I don't need some old man with a water pistol. I want huge tanks coming at me, and that's what's going to happen," Eddie Hearn said in an interview with the British news outlet IFL TV.
