Recently, the light heavyweight champion (up to 93 kg) surprised fans by announcing the end of his relationship with the fellow UFC fighter, which lasted only nine days – an announcement that rekindled the hopes of the greatest knockout artist in Ultimate history.
It all started when Poatan, through Instagram stories, thanked the public for their affection and explained that, despite the good times they shared with Tracy Cortez , they had decided to go their separate ways. The champion also wished the fighter success and positive things in her personal and professional journey.

"Thank you to my fans for all the love. I would like to inform you that although Tracy Cortez and I have shared great moments together, we have decided that it would be best for both of us to go our separate ways. I wish her all the best on her journey," wrote Poatan.
Derrick Lewis wasted no time and released his ironic reaction in an ESPN MMA post that covered the breakup. In the message, the heavyweight (up to 120,2 kg) implied that Tracy Cortez would now be looking for a boyfriend in the UFC's heavier division, which is precisely his own weight class.
"She's moving up to heavyweight," wrote Derrick Lewis.

Despite interest in Tracy Cortez 's next moves , Derrick Lewis has more pressing commitments to worry about. The heavyweight returns to action at UFC 324, scheduled for January 24, where he will put his two-fight winning streak on the line against prospect Waldo Cortes-Acosta.
