He is the middleweight belt holder Chris Weidman, undefeated in professional MMA and putting his belt on the line against Luke Rockhold in December. To celebrate the partnership, the company created a special sneaker for Weidman, with the design of the United States flag, the same one that the fighter hugs before and after his fights.

The announcement was made by Weidman during his appearance on the program “The MMA Hour”. “It’s an honor to be part of an equipment brand like Reebok. I had never imagined myself having my own sneakers. There are no words to describe it, it's incredible. I will never take them off my feet. I will be with them everywhere”, said Weidman, who will also have his own line of shirts, “Join The Team”, alluding to the phrase he said shortly after hitting Vitor belfort in May this year.
