The rivalry between Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier seems far from over. Even years after the end of their careers in the octagon, the former champions have resumed exchanging barbs after sharing the backstage area as coaches on a fighting reality show.
The two agreed to participate as coaches in a show filmed in Thailand, marking a reunion between former rivals. Before filming, Jones even expressed hope that the interaction could help resolve their differences. However, the atmosphere soured, and the outcome was anything but peaceful.
In an interview with Red Corner MMA, Jon Jones launched harsh criticism against his longtime rival. “This season against Daniel, it became clear how arrogant and a jerk he is. If you really know Daniel Cormier , you'll see he's an idiot. He didn't connect with any of the fighters here. I tried to make peace several times, but he made it clear that he wants to be my enemy for the rest of his life because it's profitable for him,” stated 'Bones'.

Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier were the protagonists of one of the greatest rivalries in UFC history. In the octagon, Jones came out on top in both fights: he won the first by unanimous decision and knocked out Cormier in the rematch with a high kick followed by ground strikes. The second victory, however, ended up being overturned and changed to a "no contest" after Jones tested positive for a banned substance.
