Michel Pereira will have a new opportunity to bounce back in the UFC. After suffering three consecutive defeats, the most recent by knockout in just 43 seconds, the Brazilian is scheduled to face Zachary Reese at UFC Houston, an event set for February 21st.
Before his slump, Michel was riding an eight-fight winning streak, a performance that earned him his first chance against a ranked fighter in the middleweight division (up to 83,9 kg). However, against Anthony Hernandez , the Brazilian was dominated throughout the fight and suffered a defeat, a result that marked the beginning of his current losing streak in the UFC.

On the other side, Zachary Reese is going through a more stable moment in his career. The American has one no-contest and two recent wins, the most recent by submission, which makes him a dangerous challenge for the Brazilian.
