UFC bantamweight champion, TJ Dillashaw received a lot of criticism recently for leaving his team, Alpha Male, to join a new team that will be created in the US state of Colorado, MP Elevation. However, of all the negative comments he read about himself, one in particular bothered him, coming from Conor McGregor.

The Irishman, with his usual controversial style, even stated that the UFC bantamweight champion was a “snake”, because, according to his analysis, he had gone to the TUF 22 recordings not to help the young fighters, but rather himself. . However, Dillashaw countered and said that McGregor is being hypocritical by criticizing him.

“In fact, it's ridiculous when he calls me a snake or a traitor when I've made a business decision. I'm being called a snake because I made a business decision for my career. That's being very hypocritical. If I am a traitor, he is an even greater traitor to his country. He is all patriotic about Ireland, but now lives in the United States. Why? It's better for his career. It's a business. So, to put it in a way that everyone understands, I'm just trying to stay on top and become the best fighter possible”, explained Dillashaw, in an interview with the North American website “MMA Fighting”.

Both McGregor and Dillashaw have UFC fights scheduled in the coming months. The Irish challenge José Aldo for the linear featherweight title, on December 12; Dillashaw now defends his belt against Dominick Cruz, in January.
