Alex Poatan continues to evolve and, at 38 years old, the Brazilian shows that he can become even more lethal as a professional MMA athlete.

Alex Poatán He continues to evolve. At 38 years old, the Brazilian continues to hone his skills and become even more lethal as a professional Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) athlete. The current UFC light heavyweight champion (up to 93 kg), Poatan appeared in a video, applying strategic strikes during his training.

Throughout the video, you can see Alex Poatán striking his training partner with a few kicks to the front foot at close range. The tactic helps Poatan to unbalance his opponents, just as it happened in the rematch against Magomed Ankalayev by the UFC 320, in October 2025.
