While Alex Poatan trained with his children at Christmas, on the first day of 2026 he had a different partner. The light heavyweight champion (up to 93 kg), who spent New Year's Eve with Tracy Cortez in the United States and confirmed their relationship, returned to the gym and trained with his new girlfriend.
The record was published by the new UFC couple last Thursday (1st), on their respective official profiles on 'Instagram'. In the post caption, Tracy wrote: '2026 🦾❤️🔥'. In turn, Poatan shared the workout via 'Stories', tagged the American and chose a heart emoji next to it, thus reinforcing the relationship.

In the video, Tracy hones her striking skills, especially her kicks, with a training partner. Meanwhile, Poatan appears near his girlfriend and goes easy on his sparring partner. The activity is supervised by Plínio Cruz, a longtime friend and coach of the UFC star.

On New Year's Eve, the Brazilian posted a photo embracing the fighter and smiling. In turn, the American shared a picture of herself kissing the renowned striker on the lips.
