Apparently, Alex Poatan 's sons have everything to follow in the footsteps of the renowned striker. Last Thursday (25), the UFC light heavyweight champion (up to 93 kg) shared the Christmas training he did with the pair and he didn't 'suffer' alone. In one of the records, veteran Glover Teixeira also had difficulty keeping up with Lohan Pereira's pace.
During the training session, Poatan's son showed skill and agility in striking. Sharp and fast, the boy landed crosses and straight punches on Glover. Defensively, the former UFC champion seemed surprised by Lohan's pressure and even tried to push him away. The training was supervised by Alex, who was sitting on the mat next to Alessandro, his other son.

Although it's still early, Alex Poatan has already stated that he's not against his sons becoming professional fighters. In fact, many fans hope that Alessandro and Lohan Pereira will continue to excel in combat sports and join the UFC in the future.
Glover on fire
Retired MMA fighter Glover Teixeira , 46, recently found himself embroiled in controversy. The Minas Gerais native didn't hide his irritation after Khamzat Chimaev claimed he would beat him and Alex Poatan on the same night. The veteran even warned the Russian to be careful when he encounters him.
