Charles do Bronx was not at all pleased with the attack made by Luke Rockhold . Recently, the former UFC middleweight champion (up to 83,9 kg) compared the Brazilian to Islam Makhachev in grappling and called him terrible. Upon learning of the comment, the athlete did not let it go and responded to the American last Thursday (25).
In short, Charles mocked the veteran. After being criticized, the former UFC lightweight champion (up to 70,3 kg), ironically implied that Rockhold is not in a position to challenge the skills of other fighters. It's worth noting that the 'bad boy' won six fights for the company, lost five, and became better known not for his fighting skills but for being easily knocked out.

Interestingly, Charles Oliveira , whose grappling has been criticized, is simply the greatest finisher in UFC history, with 17 submissions in total. It's true that the Brazilian was easily submitted by Islam Makhachev in 2022, but throughout his MMA career, he has either knocked out numerous jiu-jitsu black belts or forced them to tap out.
