After a huge commercial success with one of the largest audiences in Netflix history, the brutal defeat to Anthony Joshua doesn't seem to have slowed Jake Paul 's trajectory in the world of sports entertainment. In fact, even while recovering from a double fractured jaw, the YouTuber already has a future opponent in mind: Francis Ngannou.

The Troubled Kid spoke about the subject during an appearance on the 'Impulsive' podcast , hosted by his older brother, Logan Paul. He briefly compared his and the Cameroonian's performances against Anthony Joshua and expressed a desire to face him in the future.

“I told everyone I’d do better than Francis. Francis has no chin. Francis is kind of weak… I would fight Francis. I think maybe now he’ll accept (the fight),” Paul stated.

Francis Ngannou had experiences in boxing.

After leaving the UFC as the undisputed heavyweight champion (up to 120,2 kg) and migrating to the PFL for the opportunity to fight in boxing and a higher salary, Ngannou stepped into the ring to face the Briton in March 2024 and was knocked out in the second round, in addition to suffering several knockdowns . The Cameroonian was even challenged by Paul recently, after Gervonta Davis left the Netflix event. However, the fighter publicly rejected the proposal.
