Esquiva Falcão was involved in a car accident. The Olympic boxing medalist from London 2012 posted a video on his Instagram showing the damage to his vehicle on the road.

Esquiva suffered a car accident in Espírito Santo this past Monday (22), the boxer's home state. The Brazilian reported the whole situation on his official Instagram profile. His car, a Mercedes-Benz C180, was completely damaged.

“I’m fine, thank God, thanks to God’s deliverance, all honor and glory be given to God. I lost control of the car here (on Rodovia do Sol). Then it (the car) came crashing, I don’t know how, it came crashing, and stopped here. I didn’t suffer a scratch, I’m fine. The car was totaled, it was a total loss,” Esquiva Falcão reported on his official Instagram profile.

What happened to Esquiva Falcão in the car accident?

Esquiva was in his car, a Mercedes-Benz C180, driving along the Rodovia do Sol highway, which connects Vitória, the capital of Espírito Santo, to the south of the state. The Olympic boxing medalist from London 2012 lost control of the car, went off the road, and rolled over in a grassy area beside the highway.

Esquiva reported that he had no insurance coverage and had completely lost his car. Despite the scare, the Olympic boxing medalist from London 2012 reassured fans, stating that he only suffered a few scratches on his legs.
