UFC legend wins Misfits Boxing belt and achieves a 100% win rate in the 2025 season.

2025 was quite a year for Tony FergusonIn the current season, the American ended his eight-fight losing streak in the UFC by venturing into boxing. And, last Saturday (20), 'El Cucuy' not only won. In the co-main event of 'Misfits Mania', held in Dubai (UAE), the veteran put on a show against Warren Spencer and became champion in the noble art.

Even at 41 years old, an advanced age to compete, Ferguson performed well physically and went on the offensive against his opponent. In fact, El Cucuy nearly knocked Spencer out in the second and third rounds. After suffering a knockdown, the athlete recovered and troubled the veteran at key moments in the fight.

Undaunted, the former interim UFC lightweight champion (up to 70,3 kg) came close to a knockout in the final seconds of the fight, but couldn't finish the job. Nevertheless, at the end of the five rounds, Ferguson won by points and claimed the vacant Misfits middleweight title.

Ferguson's history with Misfits Boxing

After his UFC career ended, Ferguson signed with Misfits and returned to boxing. In 2025, the American had two fights for the organization and won both. In August, El Cucuy knocked out digital influencer Salt Papi and now defeated Warren Spencer.
