Rapper Drake tried to 'break the bank' on the fight between Jake Paul and Anthony Joshua last Friday (19), but ended up with a million-dollar loss. The musician, who is known for betting and losing large sums on sporting events, tried to risk his guess on the underdog, but Jake Paul couldn't help him.

Drake bet no less than US$200, approximately R$1,1 million at the current exchange rate, on Jake Paul 's outright victory . Had he won, the rapper would have broken the bank and pocketed eight times his stake – more than US$1,64 million or R$9 million. However, the YouTuber and influencer couldn't match the former heavyweight world champion.

The internet doesn't forgive Drake's 'jinx'.

In the comments section of the post, Twitter users didn't hold back in lamenting the rapper's bad luck.

"If Drake bets on you, you better give up," wrote user @Pauluz.
