Jake Paul He couldn't resist Anthony Joshua's power and ended up being knocked out in the sixth round of the boxing match held last Friday (19), in an event broadcast by Netflix. Even betting on a cautious strategy, with a lot of movement and avoiding open exchanges in the initial rounds, the former YouTuber was cornered by the British heavyweight, who connected with powerful blows until forcing the fight to be stopped by technical knockout.
Jake Paul He tried to compensate for his technical disadvantage with a lot of movement in the initial rounds, avoiding direct exchanges and resorting to the clinch whenever he felt pressured. Anthony Joshua, patiently, wore down his rival with jabs and body shots, until he began to impose his strength from the middle of the fight onwards. In the fifth round, the heavyweight's superiority became evident: Paul suffered two knockdowns and only managed to stay on his feet until the end of the round.

The fight was decided in the sixth round. Joshua went on the attack in the first few seconds and found a visibly exhausted Paul, lacking his usual mobility. With clean and powerful strikes, the Briton knocked the American down for the third time in the fight and then maintained pressure against the ropes, forcing another takedown and the knockout that ended the fight.
With the victory, Anthony Joshua achieved his 29th career win, 26 of them by knockout, and recovered from his loss to Daniel Dubois in a title fight. Jake Paul, in turn, suffered his second defeat in 14 fights in professional boxing.
