Valle withstands the pressure and secures victory in the final.
Yokasta Valle started the fight at a faster pace, relying on straight punches and greater mobility. Yadira Bustillos, on the other hand, was slower, looking for powerful crosses, but still lacked the necessary precision.
In the second round, the dynamic remained the same, but Yadira's aim improved and some of her punches landed more clearly, damaging the champion's face. In the third round, Valle showed signs of fatigue, while Bustillos accelerated with combinations of hooks and crosses. As the bell rang, the Costa Rican returned to her corner with a cut on her right temple.
Between the fourth and fifth rounds, the athletes began to compete for the center of the ring. Yadira continued to rely on cross punches, while Valle, even though exhausted, maintained a high frequency of dodges and combined side punches to score points.
In the sixth and seventh rounds, the fight for the center continued intensely. Sensing her opponent's fatigue, Yadira Bustillos began to target more body shots. Even so, Yokasta Valle refused to back down, using her superior speed to connect with strikes and respond to the attacks.
In the final rounds, with the scores uncertain, the instructions in the corners were clear: secure the fight. Ignoring fatigue, both fighters went on the attack, exchanging sequences of blows in the center of the ring until the end. After ten rounds, the judges declared Yokasta Valle the winner by decision, retaining the belt.
