Keno Marley showed why he is considered one of the great promises of Brazilian boxing. The Bahia native, who has already represented Brazil in two Olympic Games, had his first professional fight and gave Diarra Davis no chance on the preliminary card of the boxing event that has Jake Paul e Anderson Silva , the main attractions.
Controlling the distance and leading the fight from start to finish, the Brazilian had no difficulty confirming the victory by unanimous decision. With the triumph, Keno achieved his first victory in professional boxing and expanded a resume that already includes participation in the Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024 Olympic Games, reaching the quarterfinals in both editions.

Keno started the fight keeping his left hand extended to control the distance and, in the first 30 seconds, landed a right hand that rocked his opponent. The Brazilian used jabs well to keep Davis at bay until, with one minute left in the fight, he took advantage of a misstep by his opponent and connected with another straight punch, taking the American to the ground and scoring the first knockdown of his opponent's professional career. After Diarra got up, Marley continued to control the distance with his lead hand.
In the second round, Keno continued to demonstrate his high level of play against his rival. The Brazilian dominated the center of the octagon, mainly using left jabs, and began to look for body shots with his rear hand.
The third round began with the American going on the offensive, but in the first few exchanges, Keno dodged a punch and landed a left cross, forcing his opponent to retreat. From then on, the Brazilian changed his strategy: he stopped constantly measuring the distance, started closing ranks and provoking his rival's attacks in order to respond with counter-punches.
Keno Marley started the fourth and final round by advancing and forcing a stand-up exchange. Faster, the Brazilian landed his punches efficiently, while the American's attacks were stopped by the guard, without much impact.
After four rounds of action, Keno Marley was declared the winner by unanimous decision of the judges.
