Jake Paul's movement isn't enough to prevent Anthony Joshua's knockout.
Jake Paul The fight began with a lot of movement, while Anthony Joshua advanced patiently, using jabs aimed at the body. In the final stretch of the opening round, the Briton managed to close the distance and landed a straight punch, which was caught in the former YouTuber's guard.
In the second round, Paul again relied heavily on his mobility and, whenever threatened, resorted to the clinch to slow the pace of the fight. Even so, Joshua found space to land a right hand from guard, followed by a body hook during the clinch.
The fourth round followed the same script: Jake continued to prioritize movement, but surprised by landing an overhand right over Joshua's jab. Midway through the round, however, the former heavyweight champion put his opponent on the ropes and connected with a straight right without much impact. In the final seconds, Paul ended up going down while attempting a clinch and received a warning from the referee.
In the fifth round, the 'Troublemaker' was already showing difficulties and began to seek the clinch from the start, without success. Joshua intensified his work on the body and began to demonstrate his power. In the final stretch, Jake Paul He suffered two knockdowns and only managed to hold on until the final bell rang.
The fight was decided in the sixth round. Anthony Joshua went on the attack in the opening seconds, while Paul was no longer able to move efficiently. The heavyweight landed clean strikes, knocked the American down for the third time in the fight, and then continued the punishment against the ropes, forcing another takedown and ending the fight.
