Cris Cyborg put on another show at the PFL and, as a bonus, made a bombshell statement. Last Saturday (13), in France, the Brazilian finished Sara Collins in the third round and thus won the inaugural featherweight (up to 65,8 kg) belt of the company. With another title and important triumph on her resume, the MMA legend already has her next and final step in the sport in mind.
At 40 years old, Cyborg revealed that her next fight will be her last in mixed martial arts and, to end her career on a high note, she launched a significant challenge. The Brazilian wants to have a PFL champions' super fight against Dakota Ditcheva. And the veteran's intention is valid.
The Englishwoman reigns in the flyweight division (up to 57 kg), is undefeated, and already has star status, being considered by many one of the main representatives of the new generation of women's MMA. Another athlete that interests Cyborg is Leah McCourt, who has been on her radar since her Bellator days.

“I’m going to fight MMA again next year. This will be my last MMA fight. After that, I’d like to do some boxing matches before I retire. I love MMA. Maybe I can fight in Lyon. I’d like to fight McCourt. If she’s not available, I can cut weight and fight Dakota. She’s beating everyone in her division. At bantamweight (up to 61,2 kg) or we can think of something. I believe it will be good,” said the MMA legend in the post-fight interview.
Legendary Career
Cris Cyborg is an MMA legend and has collected numerous titles. Her resume includes belts from Bellator, Invicta, PFL, Strikeforce, and UFC. Accustomed to competing in high-profile fights, she has defeated Gina Carano and Larissa Pacheco , but lost to Amanda Nunes.
Now, the veteran has challenged Dakota Ditcheva and is also trying to bring Ronda Rousey out of retirement. In the sport since 2005, the Curitiba native has won 29 fights, lost two, and one ended in a no contest.
