The former bantamweight champion (up to 61,2 kg) continues with the characteristic sense of humor and charisma that made him beloved in the MMA world, and in this context, the rivalry with the Russian has been fueled. The Georgian posted a video on his social media as a provocation to his rival.

In the ten-second video, the fighter appears accompanied by three women in a jacuzzi, one of them dressed as a lifeguard.
"Who said I don't have girls in my jacuzzi?", the fighter said at the beginning of the video.
The joke refers to a provocation made by Petr Yan during the UFC 323 press conference. On that occasion, the Russian lost patience with his opponent's jokes and questioned his sexuality , based on the Georgian's habit of creating photoshopped images of his former opponents in jacuzzis, in reference to an old photo of the Dagestan Clan.

The setback against Petr Yan was especially difficult for The Machine. Besides losing the bantamweight title (up to 61,2 kg), the fighter had his streak of 14 consecutive wins interrupted. This is the third longest winning streak in UFC history, behind only Kamaru Usman , who has 15; and Islam Makhachev and Anderson Silva , also with 15 consecutive wins in the world's largest MMA organization.
