The second force in MMA, PFL achieved an important 'victory' over the UFC. Last Saturday (13), the company announced the holding of its first event in history in Spain, on March 20, in Madrid.
In this way, PFL overtook UFC. It's worth noting that Dana White, the company's president, stated that one of his goals is to hold shows in Spain, especially since Ilia Topuria is the lightweight champion (up to 70,3 kg) and a star in combat sports, but explained that the difficulty in finding arenas in the country has been delaying his plans.

Since it has nothing to do with that, the PFL found the ideal location to hold its first event in Spain. The 'Palacio Vistalegre', a multi-purpose arena with a capacity of 15 seats, will be the stage for the event, which features the Spaniard Costello Van Steenis, middleweight champion (up to 83,9 kg), against the Englishman Fabian Edwards , brother of Leon Edwards.
Pitbull's rival also fights
In addition to the important middleweight bout, the featherweight division (up to 65,8 kg) pits two fighters against each other that Patrício Pitbull knows very well. At PFL Madrid, AJ McKee will face Adam Borics.
During his heyday in Bellator, Pitbull faced the American twice. In the history of the rivalry, the Brazilian lost the first fight and won the rematch. Also in the organization, the veteran defeated the Hungarian.
