MMA legend, Alexander Volkanovsky He takes advantage of the opportunities that arise in his career like few others. In addition to being a fighter, the Australian also works as a commentator and, now, as an actor. Surprisingly, the UFC featherweight champion (up to 65,8 kg) appeared unrecognizable in the trailer for the new 'Street Fighter' franchise film, released last Thursday (11), at 'The Game Awards 2025'.

In the film, eagerly awaited by fans of the legendary fighting games, Volkanovski will not be playing Ryu, nor Ken, but rather Joe. Interestingly, the Australian actor, known for his bald and discreet demeanor, will portray an extravagant character with a voluminous head of blond hair.

The film is scheduled to premiere on October 15, 2026. In addition to the UFC fighter, the new 'Street Fighter' also features a cast including: actor Jason Momoa, one of Hollywood's biggest stars; WWE stars Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes; comedian Andrew Schultz; and others.
