Alexandre Pantoja suffered the worst possible result at UFC 323. At the event held this Saturday (6), in Las Vegas (USA), the Brazilian saw his reign in the flyweight division (up to 57 kg) come to an end, but not with a defeat for being inferior to his opponent, in this case Joshua Van . In just 26 seconds, the now former champion of the category lost the title due to an arm injury.

The tragedy occurred when Pantoja, after having his leg grabbed by Van, decided to go to the ground. Upon supporting himself with his left arm on the ground, the Brazilian suffered a fracture. Immediately, the veteran looked at the referee and informed him that he could no longer continue the fight. Thus, the athlete lost by technical knockout and saw the promising fighter win the belt, which he attempted to defend for the fifth time.
