Humiliation! Cris Cyborg slams Ronda Rousey after rumors about a possible fight against the boxing legend.

Cris Cyborg wasted no time and reignited the rivalry with Ronda Rousey . This is because, last Monday (1st), a strong rumor pointed out that the American will come out of retirement, but not to return to the UFC, but to venture into boxing against Katie Taylor, a legend of the ring, in the 2026 season. Soon after, the Brazilian attacked the UFC Hall of Famer.

Cyborg downplayed Ronda's boxing skill level. Not satisfied with that, the MMA legend asserts that the American is incapable of giving her potential opponent, one of the best and most decorated female boxers in history, a competitive fight.

And Cyborg's opinion makes sense, considering that, at her peak, Ronda was never known for her striking and even became a meme after a boxing training session was leaked due to her lack of aptitude. Furthermore, the 38-year-old veteran last fought in 2016 and has never competed in boxing.

"Once, I saw Ronda training and her shadow won! No chance of her fighting boxing. Maybe a return to the octagon for a fight against Gina Carano… but Ronda shouldn't even be near a boxing ring," the MMA legend wrote on his official 'X' account.

Previously, Cris Cyborg , 40, upon learning of Ronda Rousey's return to training, expressed interest in welcoming her back to MMA. A legend of the sport, the Brazilian has collected numerous titles (Bellator, Invicta, PFL, Strikeforce and UFC) and is also accustomed to competing in super fights.

In her career, the athlete defeated Gina Carano and Larissa Pacheco and lost to Amanda Nunes . Now, the Curitiba native is determined to lure her rival into a fight.
