Charles do Bronx clarified what many people were speculating on social media: no, the rematch with Max Holloway will not be in January at UFC 324, as a brief post from UFC Brazil on X, formerly Twitter, had suggested.

Last Sunday (30), the UFC Brazil profile published that Holloway would face 'Do Bronx' for the BMF belt at UFC 324. The publication, however, was deleted shortly afterwards, which opened the door to rumors.

Charles do Bronx , however, arrived before the speech was lost. On his Instagram, the Brazilian said:

"The fight won't be in January, but the fight will happen. I want it, he wants it, you want it... I believe this fight will happen in March/April," Charles said on his profile.

Regarding the duel between Charles Oliveira and Max Holloway.

The movement for this fight gained momentum after Charles Oliveira 's recovery in October, when he defeated Mateusz Gamrot , reigniting his candidacy for major fights. Before that, in a lightweight title fight (up to 70,3 kg) at UFC 317 in June, he had been knocked out in the first round by Ilia Topuria.

On the other hand, Holloway is on a forced hiatus. The Hawaiian is recovering from hand surgery, an injury sustained against Dustin Poirier at UFC 318 in July, and hopes to return to fighting in early 2026.

All the confusion hasn't changed the essential point: the will of both athletes. According to 'Do Bronx', he and Holloway want the fight, and now there's even a public target period for it to be built up to the weight it deserves: March or April 2026.
