Four months after stepping into the octagon for the last time against Max Holloway in his homeland and experience one of the most exciting retirements in history, Dustin poirier went through another very special moment. Last Wednesday (26), the Diamond and his wife Jolie announced the birth of Kingston Cade Poirier, the couple's first child, born last Tuesday (25).

According to the Instagram post, the tiny baby, measuring just 48 centimeters and weighing 3 kg, was born a little earlier than originally expected.

“Our Thanksgiving may have been canceled this year, but we have even more reason to be thankful… Our sweet boy surprised us yesterday by arriving two weeks earlier than expected. Welcome to this huge world, Kingston Cade Poirier,” the post said.

Dustin Poirier and Jolie have been a couple for over 15 years.

Dustin and Jolie met in school when they were young and have been married since 2009. Kingston is the couple's first child, but they are also parents to a daughter, Parker Noelle, born in 2016. Both women were present at the fighter's farewell from the octagon at UFC 318.
