The climate between Conor McGregor e Khabib Nurmagomedov The feud has started again in the last few hours. After ending a period away from social media, the Irishman accused his former rival of running a scam involving the sale of digital "gifts," supposedly linked to his father's name and Dagestani culture.
The former champion responded harshly, calling McGregor a “liar” on X, formerly Twitter, the network where the discussion took on large proportions this Wednesday (26).

McGregor had announced months ago that he would be taking an extended online break to focus on physical and mental recovery after suffering a serious leg fracture in 2021.
The comeback happened a few days ago when 'The Notorious' spoke about trauma treatment and said he had a spiritual experience during the process, citing an encounter with Jesus. His return to social media was short-lived before the Irishman reopened an old wound.
"It's unbelievable that the good guy Khabib used his late father's name and the country's culture to sell NFTs and then delete all the content after the sale, leaving the fans ripped off, right?", Conor wrote in one of the posts.
The message garnered over 2,6 million views and sparked comments questioning the Dagestani's stance.
There is just no way good guy khabib used his late fathers name, as well as Dagestan's culture, to scam his fans and fire sell a bunch of digital NFT's online and then delete all of the content after they were sold, leaving his fans robbed of their money?
There is just no way…

Khabib Nurmagomedov goes after McGregor, and Conor doesn't hold back on social media.
Nurmagomedov didn't let it go easily. According to the fighter, the virtual items were made available exclusively on the Telegram platform.
“You absolute liar. You always try to tarnish my name after it was destroyed that night, but you’ll never succeed. Good people don’t do that… they create unique digital gifts with real-time value that can be shared with friends and family,” he retorted, referring to Papakha, the traditional Dagestani hat, and linking the project to Telegram.
You absolute liar
You will always try to darken my name, after you got destroyed that night, but you will never achieve that!
Yes, good guys don't do that.
They don't create exclusive digital gifts with real time value, that you can share with your friends and family.
Gifts…

The provocations escalated when McGregor posted again, attacking the semantics of the campaign.
“They just apologized for using your father’s name to sell those expensive ‘gifts.’ Actually, selling is the exact opposite of giving a gift, you low-IQ troglodyte. A scam using your dead dad’s name. Shame on you,” the Irishman replied.
Apologize this instant for using your late father's name to sell these “gifts” that cost your fans so much of their money.
Also to sell something means it is not a gift you low iq troglodyte!
That is the direct opposite of what “gift” means.
Duh duh duh dumbass hahaha…

Khabib announces the end of the digital campaign.
Hours after the exchange of insults, Khabib went to X, formerly Twitter, to confirm the end of the digital feud. The post reached one million views, with no further response from McGregor at the time of publication of this text.
"The auction is over and all the papakhas have been sold! Thank you to everyone who participated and became the holder of this exclusive gift, a valuable gift to share with someone you love. Thank you for your trust. Only on Telegram," concluded the dagestani.
The auction has ended and all Papakha's been sold!
Appreciate everyone who participated in it, and become a holder of this great and exclusive digital gift, gift with value, that you can share with your friends and loved ones.
Thank you for your trust!

In the end, the discussion highlighted one point: when McGregor and Khabib cross paths, there seems to be no room for a friendly atmosphere; everything turns to gunpowder, even without pay-per-view, weigh-ins, or an official card.
