Anderson Silva has a new opponent for his boxing match on the same card as Jake Paul vs. Anthony Joshua, scheduled for December 19th at the Kaseya Center in Miami. The former middleweight champion (up to 83,9 kg) was originally slated to face Chris Weidman , but will now face fellow former UFC champion Tyron Woodley.
In a social media post, journalist Ariel Helwani, who is acting as a promoter and will be the presenter of the event's press conference, announced that Weidman suffered an injury, which has not yet been disclosed, and had to withdraw from the card.
The fight between Anderson Silva and Tyron Woodley will be a professional boxing match held in the 88,4 kg division and is scheduled for six rounds.
