As they have very different physiological characteristics from men, women end up going through unique situations in sport, as in the case of amateur MMA fighter Brye Anne Russillo, who went through an experience that certainly no male athlete has ever experienced.

The North American, who will compete for the belt in the under-68 kg category at the “Aggressive Combat Championships” event against her opponent Paige Lian on October 3, revealed, in an interview with the “My MMA News” website, that the size of her breasts has hindered her weight cut and that's why she chose to work in a heavier division.
“I can't cut off my breasts and put them aside, they weigh 12 pounds (about 5,5 kg),” said Russillo, who also assured that, despite her non-threatening features, she is not delicate in the ring. “Because I'm very blonde and have big breasts, everyone expects me to be a 'Barbie doll'. If you have a dream even at an older age, go for it. I have a son and I turn 30 in two months, but I'm happy to have followed my passion”, said the fighter, who has a record of one win and one loss, and works as a chef and waitress.
Problems with breast size are nothing new in sports. Last year, the case of Romanian tennis player Simona Halep drew attention and made headlines around the world. Currently number 2 in the world rankings, Halep said that she had undergone surgery that made her reduce four bra sizes, eliminated her back pain and made her take a real leap in quality in her game.
