the veteran Johnny Eduardo, ranked ninth among UFC bantamweights, will finally return to the octagon after a long time away. And it will soon be against a quarry. The Brazilian will face the promising aljamain sterling at UFC Fight Night 80, an event that will take place on December 10th in Las Vegas, in the United States.

Eduardo hasn't stepped into the Octagon since May last year, when he surprised everyone and knocked out the former title challenger Eddie Wineland. After that, he had to undergo surgery on his left shoulder to correct an injury. In Ultimate, Eduardo has a record of two wins and one loss.
Sterling, 26 years old, is considered one of the biggest prospects in the weight class today. Training partner Chris Weidman, he has a record of 11 wins and no losses in professional MMA. In his most recent fight, Sterling submitted veteran Takeya Mizugaki in April.
UFC Fight Night 80 will open the week in which the duel between Conor McGregor e José Aldo, Eduardo's colleague at the Nova União academy. The event will take place on a Thursday, with paige vanzant against Joanne calderwood as the main fight. Two days later, UFC 194 will feature a fight for the featherweight belt, in addition to Weidman against Luke Rockhold for the middleweight belt.
